Just want to take a minute to look at the three beasts of Revelation. Often these two are conflated and sometimes they are over laid with the beasts of Daniel.
Beasts of Revelation – Chapter 12
The Woman and the Dragon
12 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”[a] And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2013&version=NIV
Who Is This Beast?
This first beast is identified for us as the Dragon of Old. This is Satan/Lucifer/Godriel. He is the god of this world. This sign appeared in the heavens on September 23, 2017 One thing to notice about this beast is that it has seven heads, ten horns and seven crowns ON THE HEADS. This is important when we look at the beast from Revelation 13.
I’m still pondering the significance of the seven heads and ten horns of the dragon/beast.
Beasts of Revelation – The One That Comes Up From The Sea
The Beast out of the Sea
13 The dragon[a] stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”
5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.[b]https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2013&version=NIV
Notes About This Beast
The Revelation 13 beast comes out of the sea, which is possibly humanity. Notice the first beast of Revelation from chapter 12 is standing on the shore watching this beast rise up. The beast from the sea has seven heads, ten horns and ten crowns ON THE HORNS.
Now For The Beast In Revelation 17
When I saw her, I was greatly astonished. 7 Then the angel said to me: “Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.
9 “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.
12 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
15 Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2017&version=NIV
The Third Beast?
There is actually a third beast of Revelation. In Revelation 12 we see the Dragon standing on the shore, beast number one, the beast from the sea, beast number two and then their is the third beast that comes from the Earth.
Revelation 13 2nd Beast that is the Third
The Beast out of the Earth
11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.[e] That number is 666.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2013&version=NIV
Can We Know Who It Is?
If we go back to the beasts in Daniel, there are the 4 main ones and then there is the vision of the goat and lamb in Daniel 9. I am in the camp with those that suggest this is about Alexander and his conquests. We can look at this beast from Daniel as an example to get an idea about this third beast in Revelation. It represents itself as a lamb with two horns (horns have power) and speaks blasphemies. Because of this I suspect that this beast is the messiah the “Jews” will present. He will promote Israel/noahide laws/Talmudic Judiasm.
While lots of discussion goes on about 666, I’m not entirely convinced it is actually the number 666 other than that it gets bandied around so much that it might be the number because of the echo effect. (self fulfilling prophecy)
What Do We Know About Beast Biblically Speaking
Beasts are used by Yahuah for judgement. The beasts in Daniel clearly show this. Since the first beast’s identity was already disclosed in Revelation 12, let’s go with the assumption that this beast in Revelation 17 is the second beast that comes up out of the the sea, and see where that leads us.
At this point I’m going to venture a guess that the beast that was, is not, but will come again, is Babylon. From John’s perspective Babylon did not exist, but does exist today. We call her Israel. (the place not the people). The 1948 Israel came up out of the peoples of the world. It was a product of the Rothchilds. (which means red shield – and I think might tie back to the red (scarlet color of the beast on which the woman rides).
You have to admit everyone is astonished at the nation of Israel. And we are told Babylon will fall in a single hour. In fact that happens in the very next chapter.
One of the heads of the fourth beast in Daniel also suffers a mortal head wound but it heals. This could possibly be related too. At this point is it just more information as we work this out.
One More Note on the Creation of Israel & the Beasts Of Revelation
The beast that comes up out of the sea, “The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion”
It was Germany, Russia and the Great Brittan that were responsible for the assembly of the New Nation of Israel.
The Five Kings of Israel
These are the five kings that had fallen, one was – Harrod – and one is yet to come. (from John’s perspective)
The Ten Horns
If we think of the ten horns as the ten regions of the United Nations, who are given power to reign by the Dragon (remember he gives power to this beast), we can see how once the Dragon is done with the whore (the Babylonian Talmudic Judaism) he will destroy her with the other nations.
The Great City
The great city is Jerusalem. Also called Sodom and Gomorrah. She is where the Whore of Babylon reigns. It is from there the Dragon will rise and deceive the world. Even as he is doing now.
A List of The Players
- Beast one – the Dragon
- Beast two – The Modern State of Israel
- 3rd Beast – anti Christ/Jewish Messiah
- Prophet – he is the one who will bring all of the religions together (I think the Pope is a good candidate for this role)

I am very open to discussing this and would love to know your thoughts, but please understand I am coming from a perspective of taking things very literally unless otherwise told in the scriptures that it is something else.
